Executive recruitment marketplace connecting companies actively pursuing senior leadership and boardroom diversity with qualified candidates from historically underrepresented groups — rebuilt from a WordPress plugin stack into a custom Flutter Web and Firebase platform.
The Problem
C-suites and boardrooms don't reflect our diverse population. Companies committed to diversity struggle to find qualified candidates, while talented executives from underrepresented groups lack visibility into opportunities.
Traditional executive search firms often rely on existing networks, perpetuating homogeneity at the highest levels of corporate leadership.
The Approach
C-Suite Diversity connects diversity-focused employers directly with executive candidates. The platform originally ran on WordPress and a set of plugins; I rebuilt it as a single Flutter Web application on Firebase, with its own authentication, data model, and payment flow.
Candidates build detailed profiles with resumes and 60-second video cover letters; companies post roles, review applicants through a structured pipeline, and schedule interviews — all in one application instead of stitched-together plugins.

Three Roles, One Platform
Candidate, company, and admin experiences each with its own dashboard, modeled as type-safe Dart sealed classes so role-specific data and screens cannot be mixed up in code.
Video Cover Letters
60-second candidate videos, plus resumes and photos, uploaded to Cloud Storage and reviewed by companies in an in-app document and video viewer.
Application Pipeline
Applications move from submitted through reviewed, shortlisted, interview, offer, and hired, with candidates notified at each status change.
Interview Scheduling
Companies schedule interviews in the platform; a scheduled Cloud Function sends reminders 24 hours and 1 hour before each one.
Company Subscriptions
Tiered plans with monthly job-posting limits and featured listings, sold through Stripe Checkout and self-managed in the Stripe Billing Portal.
Admin Moderation
Job approval, user suspension, support tickets, and platform analytics served from server-side aggregated statistics.

Email or Google sign-in, a detailed executive profile with LinkedIn link, resume and video uploads, debounced job search with filters, and application tracking with the option to withdraw.
Employer Dashboard
A multi-step job-posting wizard with draft and publish, a company profile that can auto-fill its description and logo from the company's website, applicant review with video playback, and interview scheduling.
WordPress to Firebase Migration
Purpose-built scripts to move users, jobs, and applications out of the old WordPress plugins into Firebase — creating auth accounts, sending password-reset emails, and including verification and rollback steps.
